Can the TD2e Kit be used in noisy industrial environments? Will noise affect its testing accuracy?

Yes. It works. Adjust the frequency range on the right to filter background noise. For accurate results, combine anti-noise mode, frequency tuning, sound source mode, and detection angle to precisely locate the target source.

Which gases can it detect?

Gas leak detection is independent of gas type. Any gas that generates a sound wave (audible or ultrasonic) with a sufficient sound pressure level can be detected.

Is the heat at the nameplates on both sides a device malfunction?

No. The TD2e Kit performs real-time computation for every frequency, generating chip heat. The cooling design is built into the nameplates on both sides, so it's normal for these areas to become warmer after extended use.

What is the detection distance? Can it detect within 0.3 meters?

The TD2e Kit detects from 0.3m to 60m in standard settings, and even aircraft at kilometer altitudes due to high engine sound pressure. Within 0.3m is possible, but near-field and mic-camera misalignment may cause inaccurate positioning.

Can it detect vacuum/negative pressure leaks? What should I be aware of?

Yes. The principle is the same as positive pressure leaks. Position the imager at 45°–90° to the leak hole. Smaller angles may fail to capture the acoustic signal.
